The SKAT Transport fleet has for years been one of the most modern in Europe. According to our policy, the average age of the fleet does not exceed one point five years.
This year we have invested in 25 DAF FT XF 480 SSC LD tractor units. We have again selected this model because over the last two years it has proven effective in the daily work for our clients.
It is noteworthy that this year the fleet exchange process has been affected by the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. DAF factories temporarily stopped production, due to the need to adapt to ensure the highest safety standards for their employees. The vehicles for SKAT were the first to roll off the production lines after the changes.
Thanks to the regular fleet exchanges, we not only maintain our position as a reliable partner for our clients, but we also care about the highest comfort of our drivers. The DAF 480 XF has the largest cab on the market – Super Space Cab. In addition, the state-of-the-art engines combined with eco-driving training allow us to implement a long-term strategy to reduce the adverse impacts on the environment.
SKAT continues to work, taking all the necessary precautions in accordance with WHO guidelines as well as national regulations and guidelines.
We have brought 3 teams for this year's edition of Poland Business Run.
We are proud of our achievements.
We continue our training.
See you next year.
For many years, we have been successfully pursuing a business strategy to maintain the average age of our vehicles at 1.5 years.
SKAT employees have often requested promoting an eco-friendly approach.
Therefore, we decided to carry out #ecoweek.
It was a special week in which we learned to be more ECO together.
Every day we focused on a different issue.
