2018 marks another stage in the development of SKAT Group.

Currently we are facing new legal requirements for the European market, as well as a complicated situation on the labour market. The demand for employees is very high in all industries, while for road transport the greatest challenge involves creating a suitable base of experienced drivers.

SKAT Transport fleet has for years been one of the most modern in Europe. This year, despite the difficult situation on the labour market, we are purchasing forty DAF 480 XF tractor units and forty KRONE semitrailers of the Mega type.

Every year sees us continue to expand our fleet with the latest models, and this year we have invested in the DAF 480 FT. This unit has even more power than the previous model, the transmission has been optimised and fuel capacity increased. The driver’s cabin is also the largest on the market – Super Space Cub.

It is very important for our company to invest regularly in updating our fleet in order to remain an infallible partner for our customers, and to provide high levels of comfort for our drivers. Along with implementing our multi-year strategy, we continue to reduce our negative environmental impact, partly by choosing low-emission and economical power units. Consideration of the economic aspects of maintenance and the technological solutions related to these new engines and semitrailers are important, too.
